THE ICELANDIC FILMMAKERS ASSOCIATION

The Icelandic Filmmakers Association was founded in 1966 with the aim of protecting the interests and copyrights of filmmakers.

Today, the association is an interest association of all those who work in filmmaking, and its goal is still to protect copyright and the interests of members, as well as to promote creative, artistic and cultural filmmaking. The association represents its members towards governments, cultural institutions and other non-profit organizations.

The association welcomes all filmmaking professionals in Iceland.
